I've visited the forum of Tsikot.yehey.com for some assistance on where to get my car shocks fixed instead of replaced. In less than 30 minutes, userfriendly, a tsikoteer, provided me exactly what I am looking for.I'm glad to have been part of tsikot.com for people there are quick to reply and generous to share experiences.

CD-R KING Usb Wifi Dongle

Around March of 2007, I got an XDA IIs which is capable of wifi. I wanted to test it out and the cheapest way to do that is to use a wifi card. I've found one at CD-R KING which costs only 850 pesos.

Its was very user friendly, and was able to enjoy its service for more than 6 months now.

However, last May 15, It just stopped working. I thought it was just a faulty installer. What I did was to install it on my laptop as a fresh installation and it still didn't work.

I concluded that its the USB wifi itself that ceased to function.

I went beyond the warrantee date, but didn't feel too sad about it since the product is not expensive and have served me well during the period of 6 months.

I learned that the same usb wifi is now cheaper, its costing 599 pesos. I'm tempted to buy the same product again, now that its cheaper. I use to leave it running for more than 10 hours when I download torrent movies, perhaps I can cut that in half and see if the product will last longer than 6 months.

My New Friendster account

My relatives from Canada wanted to showcase their friendster accounts but they were all in private accounts.

I really forced myself to make one out for just private viewing.

While there, I was able to find something appealing, an embedded picture viewer that looks like an I-phone.

I will soon have an Iphone, for now, I'd just enjoy looking at this. =)

Watch streaming GMA 7

I'm new to webcast, and one of my discoveries is hayag.com. A user with a webcam or a tv tuner can broadcast through the web whatever content he pleases. There is this one user who keeps on fine tuning to GMA 7.

This makes us see whats on his screen live - in streaming format.

Childhood games, can we still play them now?

I used to play a lot of NES and Super NES games back in highschool, but never really thought that I can still enjoy them today.

Kung Fu was one of the games that I loved playing.

The birth of emulators allowed me to install this classic game on my psp as well as on my xda iis.
My peers at work were so happy about it, and copied the games onto their gadgets right away.

I still recall the Code in Punch Out that allows little Mac to directly fight Mike Tyson, its 007 373 5963.

Skype for pocket pc is worth your while

My brother-in-law spent christmas with us and now he's back in New Zealand.

Kuya Tobby wanted to do a voice chat and suggested to use Skype. Good thing I was able to test Skype wireless on my xda-iis locally with a peer from work, which allowed me to easily setup a voice chat. We talked for 30 minutes, comfortably using our pocket pcs, and can hear each other well with no worries about the bills!

Its my hope that majority of my fellow pinoys would start to get interested with technology, my great experience could just be yours too. =)

Posting through my xda iis

Just testing if I use my xdaiis if it will allow blog postings. not sure how the format will look like but if this makes it out conviniently, this could then be a start of something big! Im using opera browser version 8.65 which allows flash to better navigate pages. I also made use of RSS for quicker access to my blog postings.
